What is Su-Por Surgical implants?

Su-Por Surgical Implants are utilized for the reconstruction and augmentation of the craniomaxillofacial region. Made from pure high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Su-Por becomes a porous graft upon processing, which promotes tissue integration. This highly effective material has been supported by clinical evidence since 1985. Su-Por graft materials offer superior suturability, are easy to shape, and maintain their form when contoured to fit the patient’s specific needs.
Su-Por Surgical Implants, available in block, sheet, and anatomical shapes, are intended for non-weight-bearing applications such as craniofacial reconstruction and trauma repair. Additionally, Su-Por is designed for the augmentation or restoration of contour in the craniomaxillofacial skeleton.

Tissue Integration

The open pore structure of Su-Por Surgical Implants encourages tissue ingrowth for optimal healing and stability.

Modifiable

Su-Por implants can be easily carved with a scalpel, burr, or cut with scissors, allowing surgeons to adjust the contour during surgery.

Sterilization

Su-Por implants are provided sterile. Patient-specific Su-Por implants come with two sterile implants, a non-sterile sample, and a model for surgical planning, typically delivered within 8 business days.

Fixation

Su-Por implants can be fixed using sutures, surgical screws, or K-wire. Surgical screws can be placed directly through the implant without the need for pre-drilled holes.
